Silverton Evangelical Church

Giving to SEC

Church members and friends give generously and sacrificially to support our ministry in Silverton, the surrounding area and beyond.

Giving is a part of our worship that reflects the nature and character of our generous and kind God. As a church, we aim to give away around a tenth of our income to support mission further afield.

We ask church members to consider giving regularly to support the work of the church. This last year we have been very encouraged by your generosity, for which we are grateful to God.

How can I give?

1. Through your bank

You can set up a regular payment (also known as a standing order) directly from your bank account which can be weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually. You can set up a standing order through online banking, telephone banking or in person at your local branch or make a one off donation to the church, using the following information:

  • Account:                      Silverton Evangelical Church
  • Sort code:                   20 87 94
  • Account number:     73165671

2. Giving by cash, cheque or card reader

These can be left in the basket at Church on a Sunday morning or given to a member of the finance team. Please make cheques payable to Silverton Evangelical Church. We also have a contactless card reader available on Sundays.

3. Legacies

Remembering SEC in your Will is a great way to support the work of the gospel here. This form of  generous giving has proved to be a great blessing to us in the past.

If you wish to give to SEC and are a UK tax payer, please complete a Gift Aid form. This allows us to claim an extra 25% on top of your gift.

We are very grateful for your support!

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.   2 Corinthians 9:7
