About Us

Silverton Evangelical Church is a Christian independent church in the village of Silverton, 7 miles north of Exeter.  We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30am as well as prayer meetings and home groups during the week. 

We especially welcome those who have questions about the Christian faith. As our logo says, we seek to follow Jesus and share the good news of Jesus with others.

 We believe that God gives gifts to every Christian which is why everyone who belongs to the church is encouraged to serve in whatever way God enables them. 

We are members of Partnership, a network of independent churches in south west England, the South West Baptist Association and the Evangelical Alliance.
