Sophie BirdChildren and young people

We have just started two new children's groups every
fortnight on a
Friday afternoon/evening - for younger and older children.  We hope
this will be an opportunity to disciple and encourage our church
children in a fun environment, and also to reach out to other families
in the village.

We run a Toddler Group on Friday mornings during term time (except on the 2nd Friday of the month) from 10.00am to 11.30am which is popular with families from the church and the community.

Once a month, we run 'Messy Church' - a family friendly event for children on a Friday afternoon after school.  Lots of fun, messy craft activities and games with a short all-age  celebration.  We finish with a home-cooked meal for the family.  Everyone is welcome!

We run a crèche and Sunday School groups during the second part of the Sunday service.

We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and Adults at Risk. We have a full Safeguarding policy which can be viewed by clicking on the link below and is also available to view on our 'Members' page. All adults working with children, young people and Adults at Risk undergo a DBS check and are required to undertake safeguarding training.  We are members of Thirtyone:eight (formerly known as Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service).

Our Safeguarding Team is Val Miller (01363 85435), Sue Smye (01392 861233) and Kathy Browne (01392 462076).

Please contact any member of the Safeguarding Team if you have a concern.
