Silverton Evangelical Church

Children and Young People

Sundays at 10!

Children are welcome to join us for a short session on Zoom every Sunday morning at 10am.

We can catch up together as a group and we'll have a think about the Bible story we're looking at in church. We also have an activity we will get out to children that follows on from the group. Please get in touch if you'd like to know more.

Please use the Zoom link below, every Sunday at 10am.

Our Toddler Group meets on Friday mornings during term time from 10.00am to 11.30am and is popular with families from the church and the community.

Friday Club meets for Reception to Year 3 after school and for Year 4 upwards 6.00-7.30pm. Children enjoy bringing their friends to both these groups.

We run a crèche and Sunday groups during the second part of the Sunday service.

We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and Adults at Risk. We have a full Safeguarding policy which can be viewed by clicking on the link below and is also available to view on our 'Members' page. All adults working with children, young people and Adults at Risk undergo a DBS check and are required to undertake safeguarding training at regular intervals.  We are members of Thirtyone:eight (formerly known as Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service).

Our Safeguarding Team is Val Miller (01363 85435), Sue Smye (01392 861233) and Kathy Browne (01392 462076).

Please contact any member of the Safeguarding Team if you have a concern.
