COVID Policy - updated December 2021

Despite the Prime Minister’s recent announcements and updated Government rules, the guidance for churches has not changed. However, we recognise there is increased anxiety amongst many and Christmas is fast approaching when isolation would be even more painful for most of us than if experienced at another time. Therefore, the Trustees and Ministry Team have agreed on some precautionary measures in addition to Government guidance that we feel appropriate to help keep everyone safe over the Christmas period:
  • If you have any cold, flu or covid symptoms we ask you not to come to church but to watch online instead. We will be reminding people of this and asking people on the door to confirm they are symptom free.
  • We ask people to use hand sanitiser on entering the building
  • We will continue to keep windows open for ventilation
  • Although facemasks are not mandatory, we are asking all adults who can to wear one throughout December. We will review this again at the end of the month.
  • We will continue to be spaced out throughout the church building. Having repeated carol services and a booking system for these will help us avoid overcrowding.
  • During December we will once again be serving refreshments on trays where people are sat.

If you have any questions or concerns, please speak directly to a member of the Ministry Team or a Trustee.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support at this time.
