Lent Course
The churches in Silverton are running a series of Lent groups every Tuesday in March (2.30pm and 7.30pm) in St Mary's Church Hall. The studies will be based on the excellent 'Purpose Driven Life' book. More details about the Lent group are available from Robert Amess or Brian Hooper. Everyone is welcome!
Prayer Meetings
There is a Prayer Meeting at Rosemary Miles' house at 7.15am every Thursday morning during term-time.
Prayer Meeting at church on Saturday 13 March at 8.30am.
Fellowship Lunch
David & Rosemary Broom host a Fellowship Lunch at Church at 1.00pm every 2nd Friday of the month.
Youth Group for Years 5 and 6
We run a Youth Group for Years 5 and 6 at Church at 6.30pm every Thursday evening during term-time.
Homegroups
Currently we have three homegroups operating during term-time:
Sue & Jon Smye's Group meet every Monday evening at 8.00pm
Tom & Kathy Browne's Group meet every other Tuesday evening at 8.00pm (9 and 23 March 2010)
Jill Harvey's Group meets every other Wednesday morning at 10.30am (3, 17 and 31 March 2010)
Precept group
Jill Harvey runs a Precept Bible Study Group which meets at 9.30am every Friday during term-time.
(NB. the 12 and 19 March meetings will be at Julie Salisbury's)

Lots of activities are planned including a Friday evening youth event, a drama performance on Saturday evening and a bring-and-share lunch on Sunday.

David & Rosemary Broom invite all their friends to join them in celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Saturday 20 March 2010 at Cullomption Community College from 3.00 until 9.00pm. Food will be provided and there will be a Barn Dance. Your presence is required but no presents please! Any donations may be made to Devon Air Ambulance. Lucy in the Sky!
On 24 April 2010 Lucy will be doing a 10,000 ft Skydive at Maidstone Airfield, Kent. The big jump is in aid of the Orpheus Centre, an inclusive performing arts centre in Godstone, Surrey for young disabled adults. Lucy volunteered at the Centre for two weeks in June 2008, where she worked as assistant director alongside Richard Stilgoe and West End musical director Tony Stenson to produce a musical drama which was showcased at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden, marking a great achievement for the apprentices.
